Diana has worked in the field of Social Work for over a decade. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work with Distinction (2005) and Master of Social Work with a Clinical Concentration (2008) from the University of Calgary.
Diana’s experience in providing therapy is diverse in nature. Diana completed her Clinical training at Child Abuse Services at the Alberta Children’s Hospital focusing on therapy for victims of child abuse and trauma. She subsequently worked within various specialized programs for children and youth with dual diagnosis mental health concerns, as well as trauma and abuse experiences. She delivered individual, family, and group counselling within these programs. For the last several years, Diana provided individual, couple, and family single-session counselling at a walk-in clinic in Calgary, Alberta.
Diana is primarily passionate about working with children and youth who have experienced trauma, abuse and/or mental health concerns. She also enjoys assisting individuals, couples, and families sort out their relationship and mental health concerns.
