Brian Kenny has been in practice for 25 years and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Memorial University. While Brian provides a wide range of counseling services, his work focuses primarily upon: anxiety and depression; the post-divorce environment, including custody and access issues; helping parents help their children through the separation process, etc.
Brian has been declared an Expert Witness by the Family Court in matters pertaining to child custody and the assessment of parent capacity.
Brian has developed and teaches a course entitled “How to be a Stepparent”.
Aspens & Oaks is the first private Agency in this province licensed to provide adoption services. Child Youth and Family Services (CYFS) has granted approval for Brian to be Aspens & Oaks’ adoption agency social worker, which includes the completion of Home Studies and Post-Placement Reports.
